At the heart of Pangbourne and the wider West Berkshire community, Adventure Dolphin (Pangbourne) is proud to serve as a registered charity (Charity Number 1156978) and a Community Incorporated Organisation (CIO), dedicated to improving lives through adventure, recreation, and education.

Our Purpose

Adventure Dolphin exists to promote and provide access to recreational and leisure activities — particularly water and land-based adventures — for the benefit of the local community.

Our charitable objectives focus especially on supporting:

• Young people

• Older individuals

• Those living with infirmity or disability

• Individuals experiencing financial hardship

• Those facing social or economic challenges

• And the wider public in the interests of social welfare

We believe that access to outdoor activities and safe recreational facilities can transform lives. By improving access to these opportunities, we aim to enhance wellbeing, confidence, and overall quality of life for people across West Berkshire — particularly in Pangbourne and the surrounding areas.

How We Operate

Adventure Dolphin is managed by a dedicated team of volunteer Trustees. They are responsible for both the day-to-day operations and the long-term strategic oversight of the charity.

We deliver our activities through strong partnerships with trusted providers and through our affiliation with Pangbourne Paddlesport Club. These partnerships ensure that activities are safe, professionally delivered, and aligned with our charitable mission.
