The Adventure Dolphin Centre actively participate in and supports the BCU
'Paddlesport' scheme in which young paddlers are invited to compete in a
range of canoeing events.
These events are run throughout the winter to help maintain the interest of
young paddlers in local clubs and youth organisations.
The event has been running for a number of years, and aims to provide 'try it' sessions aligned
with national paddling events. For example, marathon, slalom and polo.

Other fun water based events, such as, orienteering, mystery events
(involving unusual craft i.e. White water racers) together with some land based activities including
"It's a Knockout" style competition test other aspects of the sport.
