Freeride is a club for all paddlers who have completed their BCU 4* training and who wish to take your paddling to the next level. The club offers opportunities in all paddling disciplines, so if you want to shred a wave, boof a drop, split in a hole or open canoe on the river Wye then this is the club for you.
There are a range of weekend and day trips organised for the Freeride group together with mini expeditions abroad.

Here is an illustration of the types of events you could get involved in:
  • Paddling in South Wales: Rivers Usk/ Wye
  • Local weir bash at County Lock or Hurley
  • Film night
  • Paddling in Devon: Rivers Barle/ Dart
  • Paddling locally: Oxford backwaters
  • Surf/ sea weekends
  • Freestyle sessions
  • Paddling in France: Rivers Durance/ Allier
So if your interested in developing your skills with the support of an enthusiastic bunch of BCU qualified instructors then give us a call.
Just sit back and enjoy these pictures taken in France and those in our gallery
