Helping young people to achieve the DofE Award.
DofE Award
Expeditions
We’ve been on expeditions around the world.
Activities
Many of our clubs help young people work towards their award.
Access Organisation
An Access Organisation is one which works with young people aged 14-25 and can offer suitable challenges, opportunities and activities that fulfil one or two sections of the Award.
An Access Organisation can issue a young person with a credit slip for the section of the Award for which they’re registered. It confirms that that person has achieved the criteria set out for completion of that section. Credit slips are issued to those not already registered with a DofE logbook.
If the young person decides to register with the Award, they need to send the credit slip, registration form and fee to their Operating Authority. Their logbooks will be credited with that section before they are sent to them. They should register within 6 months of receiving their credit slip.
Young people who have already registered can give their logbook to their instructor or course director. If the criteria of the section have been met the instructor will complete the assessor’s report and sign the logbook.
