This year our guest speaker is Margaret Goldie the Director of Children and Young People for West Berkshire, who has asked to come and share with us what is happening both for the Council, Youth Service and ourselves, so I hope you will be able to attend as this will affect us all.

 The Team organising the day have asked me to remind you to do the following for the day, so you can make the day as useful as possible.  The AALA inspection and BCU updates are due in March, so we can need to be up to speed.

  A)   Driving

      All those of you who drive using your car or drive a mini bus/MPV please bring actual

1)     Paper / photo card driving licence

2)  Copy of your insurance   

      certificate (Comprehensive)
3)  Copy of your MOT

Only 2) & 3) if you drive your car to take members

 B)   CRB Checks

       West Berkshire – Application forms will       be available.

       BCU – YOU MUST APPLY DIRECT TO        THEM FOR A FORM

This was a requirement for the end of             December 2010!!

       You will need:-

• ·        Driving Licence
• ·        Passport or Birth Certificate
• ·        Utility Bill/Bank Statement with up to date address on it

       The CRB forms can then be completed

      and sent off together.

 C)  Workshops

These have been chosen by the co-ordinators and Seneschal to give everyone a good induction into the new Centre.  So we will be picking up New Staff inductions later on in the year. As usual you will be able to book onto the workshops on the day.
