Please be advised that there is a trips planning meeting Wednesday 21st March in the Lounge at the Dolphin Centre, starting 7pm, finishing by 9pm.We will be looking at trips for the summer months, through into the winter 2012/13. Sainsburys are running the active kids scheme where vouchers can be collect and exchanged for sports equipment. Last year thanks to everyones collecting the centre was able to gain some great bits of sports equipment which has been put to good use with DofE groups, day groups and youth clubs. →

Berkshire CPShas announced a new Bursary - Get Berkshire Active Coach Bursary.

The aim of the bursary is to increase the number of qualified coaches and raise coaching standards in Berkshire with a focus on participation in sport for those aged 16 and over.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year, certainly the Centre was active with the annual Boxing Day paddle.We dropped in gifts by boat and by walkingto our local lock keepers.Also our January staff padle down swift ditch ( thank you Ed and Kevin ). Now we are setting final arrangements for the full staff training day on the 29th January. What a fantastic 2days, overall we had a total of76 people attending at both Pangbourne and Waterside Centre. All of the young people managed to climbto Santas alpine grottoto receive a present plus aphoto of them with santa. Therewere evena couple ofadultstoo!! Overall it was a really good 2days.

Santa has returned to lapland untill next year.
