Trips planning meeting 21st March

Please be advised that there is a trips planning meeting Wednesday 21st March in the Lounge at the Dolphin Centre, starting 7pm, finishing by 9pm.We will be looking at trips for the summer months, through into the winter 2012/13. We will also look at the progression of people from evening and summer courses onto trips and how best to signpost and get information to

David Beckham has arrived

David Beckham has arrived at the centre, or at least acardboard cut out has.

Sainsburys are running the active kids scheme where vouchers can be collect and exchanged for sports equipment. Last year thanks to everyones collecting the centre was able to gain some great bits of sports equipment which has been put to good use with DofE groups, day groups and youth clubs.

Waterside Series Race A cancelled

Berkshire CPShas announced a new Bursary - Get Berkshire Active Coach Bursary.

The aim of the bursary is to increase the number of qualified coaches and raise coaching standards in Berkshire with a focus on participation in sport for those aged 16 and over.

Thermos Flasks…

In the name of research I would like people to share their favourite ‘on the river’ recipes which can be carried successfully in a thermos flask. Full staff training day Sunday 29th January

Alpine Santa Has Returned to Lapland

What a fantastic 2days, overall we had a total of76 people attending at both Pangbourne and Waterside Centre. All of the young people managed to climbto Santas alpine grottoto receive a present plus aphoto of them with santa. Therewere evena couple ofadultstoo!! Overall it was a really good 2days.
