New Date for Childrens Climbing

Children’s climbing courses have been hugely popular on the new wall in Pangbourne. Due to the demand we have added an extra course on a Wednesday evening starting at the end of June. During the course you have the opportunity to work towards National Indoor Climbing Awards.

Adventure Dolphin has a new wall map

Adventure dolphin has just put up a massive wall map. This covers most of West Berkshire and surrounding points of interest. It spans from Hungerford on one side and Henley on the other side. It goes as high as Abingdon and as low as Tadley. The new wall map will help groups of DofE, School groups, Mountain Bikers, Pangbourne Plods, Leisure Walkers, Paddlers on the Thames or Kennet and Avon Canal, Geocaching, Orienteeringand much more. BCU Southern Region Paddlesport Polo Results

After three weeks of polo the last nights and final results have been collected in. Well done to all who took part and all who helped it happen.

Paddlesport Polo with AD

Pangbourne and Newbury Adventure Dolphin are taking part in a 3 evening series of Polo session. Tonight the 27th January is the last eveningof the series. With 6 games to go, here are the results so far.

A Winter, Windsor Paddle

The girls and ladies at Adventure Dolphin have been starting a female paddling programme. This started with an introduction to white water at the end of the summer season, and more recently a Winter’s paddle around Windsor in canoe or kayak with 22 girls and women.

The trip around Windsor was one of those wonderfully chilled out paddles to somewhere that is pretty much on your doorstep. There weren’t any 6.30am starts or 9pm finishes but a leisurely 9am meet and 4pm

The New Year was welcomed in style with the staff paddle. 20 paddlers took to the water in open canoes led by Claire Hardwick and Ian Flanders. With the cold weather before Christmas I was worried that our adventure on the Cherwell was going to be a cold one, but the sun did shine as we made our way down the river. Girls Paddle

Clare and Jen have launched a girls and ladies paddling programme. This is to allow members to paddle with other females and to compliment paddling trips and clubs that you might already be part of. The first trip was to Symonds Yat at the end of the summer holidays, 13 girls and ladies came together for an introduction to moving water.
